Joyce Rash was welcomed into Heaven on Saturday, Feb. 15, 2025, in Corsicana. Joyce was born on Oct. 7, 1938, in Corsicana to Russell & Lorene Walker. Joyce attended Zion's Rest School and graduated from Corsicana High School in 1956. On New Year's Eve at midnight in 1956 Joyce married Richard Rash of Eureka. They enjoyed 66+ years together until Richard's passing in 2022.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, her in-law's E.E. & Georgie Rash, brother Gene Walker & wife Joy, brother H.E. Eddie Walker and her brothers & sisters in-law. Joyce is survived by her son, Rick Rash and wife Rose, son Mark Rash & Homer Andrews, grandchildren Jon & Trina Rash, Jacob Rash & Emily Sikes, Joseph Rash & Jessica Brown, and bonus granddaughter Roseanna & Cody Williams. Her great grandchildren Jackson, Wrenley, Noah and Eli Rash, Stone Richter and Hudson Williams along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many extra special friends.

Joyce's going home service will be held 11:00am Saturday, Feb. 22nd at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Sandifer and Bro. Tony Neal officiating. There will be a visitation prior to the service starting at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Hamilton-Beamon Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the A.H. Asby Scholarship Fund or The Eureka Masonic Lodge Scholarship Fund.
