William Curtis "W.C." Beale, 94, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 27, 2008. He was born on June 17, 1913, in Corbet.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Jabers Beale and Lena Lake Beale; his brother, Aubrey Jackson Beale; and his wife Loris O'Lena Ronning Beale.
He is survived by his three children, Curtis Maurice Beale and wife Joy, Glenda Beale Earley and husband Wyndal Earley, and Frances Carolyn Hyden and husband Abner; grandchildren, Tammy Cantrell, Sheryl Wadle, Anjanette Davis, John Brighton Earley, Heather Hollander and Julie Beale; and great-grandchildren, Scott Cantrell, Hollie Cantrell, Zoe Wadle, Hannah Davis, Christopher McKnight, Preston McKnight, Sarah Hyden, and Rachel Hyden.
W.C. was a well-known general contractor around the Corsicana area for many years and his work is seen both inside and outside and he also enjoyed both hunting and fishing.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Corley Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Corley Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Hamilton-Beeman Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Scott Cantrell, Gary Davis, Preston McKnight, Christopher McKnight, Jon Earley and Jim Wadle.
