Corsicana, Texas - Vera Estelle White, age 101, of Corsicana, Texas, passed away on February 19, 2026, in Corsicana. She was born on October 16, 1924, in Mangum, Oklahoma, to Clifford and Celie Fagan.

Vera is survived by her children, Sandra McCollum, Robert White and wife Amalie, and Jerry White and wife Rebecca; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Henry White; her parents; siblings Canoy Townsend, Castle Fagan, Clinton Fagan, Melford Fagan, and James Fagan; and her son-in-law, Michael McCollum.

Vera lived a long and remarkable life filled with faith, family, and devotion. As a child, she moved to Texas with her family in a covered wagon, traveling with their livestock, including two mules, cows, and chickens — a testament to the strength and resilience that defined her life. She was known as a true "Prayer Warrior," a faithful woman who loved the Lord and lifted countless others up in prayer.

She enjoyed playing Bridge and solitaire and especially loved teaching her grandchildren how to play Hand and Foot. She cherished time spent with her family and delighted in playing with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Vera was a generous and giving woman whose love for her family was evident in everything she did.

Visitation with the family will be held on Friday, February 27, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home with Solon Bailey officiating. Burial will follow at Post Oak Cemetery in Roane, Texas.

Pallbearers will be Wes Fagan, Thomas White, Russell Polzine, Cannon Chamberlon, Anthony Calderon, and Kyler Copsey. Honorary pallbearer will be Kye White.

Vera's legacy of faith, strength, and unwavering love will continue to live on through the generations she so dearly loved.
