Thelma Louise Flores of Corsicana, Texas passed away peacefully on May 19, 2023 at the age of 90.

She will be greeted in Heaven by many who have passed including her husband Manuel G. Flores, her son Manuel Jr., parents Harry and Minnie Joles, brothers Telzy, Spencer, Dawson, James, and Steve, sisters Hazel, Juanita, Bankel and Barbara, and son-in-law Clark Berry.

Thelma is survived by her daughter Patricia Berry, sons Richard Flores and wife Denell, and Robert Flores and wife Kelly.

She is survived by her grandchildren Nathan Flores and wife Joey, Matthew Flores and wife Heather, Patricia Laznovsky, Sara Wilson, Amy Reeves and husband Cody, Wendy Montgomery and husband Daniel, Ricky Flores and wife Erica, Drew Flores and wife Becky, and Blake Flores.

She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, sisters Roxie Brewer, Brenda Blakeslee, and many nieces and nephews from the Joles and Flores families.

Thelma loved reading the Bible, spending time with loved ones, and working in her yard. She enjoyed watching daytime soap operas and old black and white movies on television. She loved to whistle and could often be heard whistling along to her favorite gospel and country songs.

She will be missed but will one day greet the rest of us in Heaven.

A Rosary will be held at Corley Funeral Home beginning at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 with visitation following shortly after. Mass will be held at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at 10:00 am on Thursday, May 25, 2023 with Father Juan Carlos officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons: Nathan Flores, Matthew Flores, Ricky Flores, Drew Flores, Blake Flores, and Cody Reeves. Honorary Pallbearers will be, Manny Flores, Victor Flores, Raymond Flores, Ross Flores and Charles Joles.
