Corsicana - Mrs. Susan Neal Wisdom, age 69, of Eureka, passed away unexpectedly Sunday night, May 4, 2025, at her residence. She was born September 7, 1955, in Smith County, daughter of the late Gene and Reba Neal. ‍‍

She was born in Tyler and grew up in Mount Pleasant. Later, she graduated from Marshall Senior High School where she met her husband before moving to Navarro County to start a family of her own. She got her bachelors of business administration from Sam Houston St University in 1977. She was a member and Treasurer of Eureka United Methodist Church and Secretary of the Eureka City Council. She was also a former paraprofessional at Mildred ISD, room mother, 4-H club manager, Sunday School and Vacation Bible School teacher, Mildred PTO member, and election judge and clerk. She enjoyed puzzles, birdwatching, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a godly woman who was generous with her time and energy through serving the community.

Susan is survived by her husband, Michael; two sons and a daughter-in-law, David and Tara of Hutto and Robert of Frisco; three grandchildren, Charlotte, Claire, and Nolan of Hutto. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Corley Funeral Home in Corsicana, with Pastor Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Hamilton-Beeman Cemetery in Corsicana.

Visitation is from 5 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, May 9, 2025, at the funeral home.

Susan's family will serve as pallbearers.
