Sharon Ann (Stewart) Kelley, 72, of Hubbard and formerly of Corsicana, passed away Friday, March 17, 2023 in an Arlington hospital. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 22 at Wade Funeral Chapel in Hubbard with Pastor Holly Stone officiating. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 21 at the funeral home.
Sharon was born May 25, 1950 in Arlington to J.D. and Ima Jean (Cranford) Stewart. She was raised in Arlington where she was a graduate of Arlington Sam Houston High School and where she met her future husband, Curtis Kelley. She and Curtis were married August 17, 1967 in Arlington and lived there for many years where Curtis was a carpenter by trade and was a longtime employee of Six Flags Over Texas. Sharon served as a schoolteacher in a private Christian school, taught Sunday School and also worked with Curtis in a bus ministry for their church. Curtis and Sharon moved to Hubbard in April 2020 after having lived in Corsicana for the previous 30 years where they were active members of Freedom Life Chapel.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Curtis Lowayne Kelley in October 2020; daughter, Trina Jean Allred; two grandsons, Justin Kelley and Baby Boy Seth Clark and two brothers, Terry Bevens and Jimmy Stewart.
Survivors include three children, Keri Clark and husband, Pat of Melissa; son, Curtis Lowayne Kelley, Jr. of Hubbard and Shannon McRay Cowan and husband, Terry of Midlothian; son-in-law, Scott Allred of Grandview; brother, Johnny Bevens and wife, Sheila of Cleburne; sister, Elizabeth Stewart of Corsicana; grandchildren, Amanda Pool and husband, Ralph, Joshua Pool and wife, Cathy, Jessica Simpson and husband, Allen, Sean Clark, Reid Clark, Nathan McRay, Nicholas McRay and Riley Cowan, aka Cupcake; great-grandchildren, Jordan, Ben, Russell, Joseph, Jasmine, Charlotte, Conner, Corbin, Emma, Lilly, Ella, Luke and Sophie and numerous nieces and nephews and other extended family members.
Pallbearers will Curtis Lowayne Kelley, Jr., Nathan McRay, Nicholas McRay, Patrick Clark, Sean Clark, Reid Clark and Terry Cowan.
