Sandra Beth Inmon Lewis was born on December 13th, 1938, in Kerens, Texas to Bert and Mag Inmon. Sandra graduated from Kerens High School in 1956 where she made lifelong friends and loved being a majorette. Sandra continued her passion for twirling and was a majorette at Navarro College for two years. She graduated from The University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. She married Kenneth Lewis in 1963 and built a home for their family. Sandra had the opportunity to be a homemaker and raise her three daughters. She was very involved in her daughters' lives, taking them to piano lessons, dance recitals, the skating rink, movie theaters, stock shows, and many school activities.

Sandra's favorite time of the year was Christmas. She enjoyed entertaining friends and family on Christmas Eve, and she loved having all her family visit on Christmas morning. She would shop for months, hiding gifts, and finding them months after Christmas was over.

As her daughters became more independent, she decided to go back to college and earn her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. After receiving her degree, Sandra was hired as the school nurse for Kerens ISD. She later became a 2nd Grade Teacher and touched many lives during her years at Kerens Elementary. In 2011, she retired to spend time enjoying her grand-babies and great-grand babies. Her favorite thing in the world was spending time with her grandchildren. She was loved and cherished by her family and all who knew her. Sandra was a beautiful person, inside and out.

Sandra is survived by her daughters, Donna Darby and husband Joe, Leslie D'Agostino and husband Dusty and Rockie Glicksman and husband Kyle; grandchildren, KJ Darby and wife Kristen, Danika Griggs, Brooke Darby, Dusty Norris and wife Brittney, Dakota Norris, Sloan Glicksman and Coco Glicksman; great grandchildren, Liv Darby, Kennie Darby, Andi Griggs, Darby Griggs, Grady Griggs, Smith Norris, Evelyn Norris.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, October 1, 2022 in the Kerens Cemetery with Steve Hayes officiating. Pallbearers are Joe Darby, Dusty D'Agostino, Kyle Glicksman, KJ Darby, Dusty Norris,Dakota Norris and Sloan Glicksman.
