Sallie Lenox Obituary

Sallie Ann (Horn) Lenox, 69, of Dawson, passed away Sunday, Oct. 15, 2017 in Corsicana.

Sallie was born Oct. 27, 1947 in Hubbard to Altus Manuel Horn and Ruth (Cottongame) Horn. She was raised in Hubbard and was a graduate of Hubbard High School. Sallie was a homemaker, a Mom and a member of the Baptist church.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include the love of her life, her husband Doug Lenox of Dawson; the joy of her life, her son Michael Lenox of Dawson; a brother, Keith Horn and wife, Diana of Bynum; two nieces, Crystal Volcik and husband, Doug of Hillsboro and Brandi Birdwell and husband, Josh of Malone; a nephew, Craig Horn and wife, Alicia of Tenaha and numerous great-nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles and other extended family members and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17 at Wade Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 18 at Wade Funeral Chapel in Hubbard with the Rev. Ricky Woodall officiating.
