Rubin Clifton Fitzgerald was born in Dallas on April 13, 1966 and departed for Heaven on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013.. Rubin is preceded in death by his wife Retha Ward Fitzgerald: paternal grandfather, Rubin Fitzgerald, Sr. and his wife Lillie; paternal grandmother Clara Wright and her husband Raymond; maternal grandparents, Rowe and Mildred Sharpe; uncles, Robert (Bobby) Fitzgerald and Rubin Fitzgerald, Jr.; aunt, Clara Coleman.. Rubin is survived by his father, Billy Fitzgerald, Sr. and mother, Carmen Factor; brothers, Terry Fitzgerald and wife Carol and Billy Fitzgerald and wife Beverly; sisters, Shelly Pope and husband Mark and Bessie Factor.. Rubin will lie in state at his residence, 211 S. Reagan St. in Kerens until Thursday morning.. Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, 2013 in the Paschal Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Kirk Curry officiating..
