Richard Zufall Obituary
Ennis - Richard L Zufall, age 89, of Rice, TX, passed away September 13, 2025, in Ennis Texas. He was born October 30, 1935, in Spooner, WI, to parents Guy and Mable Zufall.
Richard is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Lou Nell (Cooper) Zufall, where they lived in Midlothian, TX until retirement and moved to Rice, TX. He is also survived by his son Gerald R Zufall(wife Toni) of Carroll, OH, stepchildren Kennith Upchurch Jr(wife Teresa), Bonnie Estes(husband Gary), Fred Upchurch(wife Weda), Cindy Pryor(husband Tommy), LaNelda McMullen(husband Mike), nephew Larry Mitchell(wife Vickie) and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Richard retired from Consolidated Freightways after many years of service, where he earned numerous awards for safety, including over 1,000,000 miles safety award. Richard was a disabled US Naval veteran of the Korean War. He will be buried at sea.
