Corsicana - Rebecca Greenlee Graham was born on June 6, 1949 to Edward & Cynthia Graham in Corsicana, Texas.

Becky was one of four children raised in the big house on 6th Avenue by her grandmother Nannie, great-aunt Mollie and great-grandmother Mamie. She and her siblings (sometimes referred to as "the four G's") were notorious for their shenanigans, which at various times included crawling to the grocery store unattended, climbing the local radio tower, getting stuck at the top, and having to be rescued by the fire department, and (most infamously) making a bubble bath in the baptismal font at the church. Of course honorable mention goes to Becky for her successful experiment to see how many rolie-polies she could stuff up the nose of her little brother George— always a willing subject in the pursuit of science.

Becky was a member of the Corsicana High School Class of 1967 and thoroughly enjoyed maintaining friendships with her classmates over the years. She spent most of her career working for the state as a caseworker and investigator chasing that elusive unicorn known as state retirement. Becky's dream was to buy an RV and travel the country. Unfortunately her dream was limited by the early loss of her vision. She made the best of it and took lots of trips, where she was NOT the driver, with her friends and family. The pride and joy of her life was her family; she was a loving mother to daughter Lacy and son-in-law Brady and a devoted Nannie to her grandchildren Mason and Addison, whose accomplishments she never tired of regaling.

Becky passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her friends and loved ones on October 11, 2024.

We celebrate her joyous reunion in Heaven with Mamie and Mollie Blackmon, Edward Graham, Cynthia O' Connell, Robert (Nannie) Taylor, Robert Graham, George Graham, and Elizabeth Chatterjee. Left to cherish her memory and remember her ready laugh, bright smile and wry sense of humor are daughter Lacy Smyth and husband Brady, grandchildren Mason and Addison Smyth, brother David Graham, beloved friend Barbara Elrod and many fond nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial Services for Becky will be held at Corley Funeral Home on Saturday, November 9th at 10:00 am with graveside services to follow.
