Corsicana, Texas - Dr. Ralston B. Gober was born in Corsicana, Texas, to Mr. and Mrs. T.B. Gober. He passed away on July 10. 2025. at the age of 87. He graduated from Lufkin High School, Stephen F. Austin University, and Baylor College of Dentistry.

He practiced dentistry for over 40 years; he was a leader in the Boy Scouts of America and taught a Sunday School class at First Baptist Church. He was elected mayor in Corsicana in 1979 and served two terms on the City Commission. He was an avid Ham Radio Operator. His call letters were WSZNN.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Linda. His son is Dr. John Gober (Misty) of Colleyville, Ellen Water (Jeff) of Alexandria, Va., Lila (Senator Mark Peake) of Lynchburg, Va. Grandchildren are Blake Gober (Courtney), Mark Peake, jr., John Ralston Peake, Anderson Peake, Lillian Peake, Lauren Peake, Jack Walter, and Lila Walter.
