Patricia Ann Parker Obituary

Patricia Ann (Fullerton) Parker, 61, of Corsicana, and formerly of Hubbard, passed away Saturday, May 29, 2021.

Patricia was born in Corsicana, Texas to Leroy and Clara (Couch) Fullerton on July 14, 1959. She was raised in Hubbard where she graduated from Hubbard High School. She worked at Mexia State School before spending several years working for Berta and Jim Hackney in Hubbard. After moving to Corsicana in 2007, she spent the remainder of her years as a housekeeper and home health care provider.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two infant sons, William Lee Parker and Brian Keith Parker.

Patricia was a compassionate caregiver for many disabled and elderly individuals throughout her career. Her favorite activities included telling stories of her youth, sharing laughs with her close friends, and cooking her mother's recipes. She took pride in raising her son while persevering through many obstacles over the years. She was a devout Christian and loved animals and children.

Survivors include her son, Wendell Tyler Parker of Corsicana; her sister, Carolyn Thatcher Smith of Hubbard; numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.
