Palmer Ray Allred, 88, passed away Sunday April 23, 2023 at home.
Visitation is from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday, April 28 at Corley Funeral Home. Graveside Service to follow immediately after visitation at Hamilton-Beeman Cemetery in Retreat.
Ray was born Feb. 1, 1935, to Albert J. and Clara Cordell Allred. Ray grew up in Corsicana and served in the United States Army. He owned Allred Construction during his lifetime. After retiring, he spent his time fishing and mowing. He loved to mow and would even go and mow his grandson's front yard.
He was preceded in death by his loving life of 65 years, Patsy Allred.
