Michelle Moody Obituary
Michelle Thorne Moody, 64, passed away Friday, Oct. 27, 2017 in Laurinburg, North Carolina. She was born Nov. 6, 1952 in Cleveland, Ohio. Michelle was a member of the last graduating class of Jackson High School in 1970.
She was preceded in death by brother, Nathaniel Carter, Sr.; grandmother, Marie Hudson and father-in-law, James Moody.
Michelle is survived by her husband, Sylvester Moody; two children, Stephanie Moody and Michael Moody; mother, Dolores D. Carter; three sisters, Denise Thorne Freeman, Cherl Thorne-Fielder and Kimberly Carter-Davis; brothers-in-law, Dennis Fielder and Ricky Davis; sister-in-law, Cherl Cater along with numerous nephews, nieces and life long friends.
Services will be held at 11 a.m Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017 at Bethel A.M.E. Church in Corsicana with Rev. Dr. Robert Uzzel officiating.
Interment to follow at Elm Flat Cemetery in Powell.
Pallbearers include: Nathaniel Devon Carter, Ricky Davis, Dennis Fielder, Lucas Fielder, Donovan Freeman, Jabril Hopkins, Mekhi Shelley and David Snell.
