Corsicana - Mary Carolyn Ochs (89) passed away peacefully on October 5th, 2024, in her hometown of Corsicana, TX.

Born July 12th, 1935, to Carroll and Mary Pearson in Corsicana, TX. Mary Carolyn is an alumna of the University of North Texas, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in English. After graduating, Mary Carolyn moved to El Paso, TX where she began her career in teaching and met her loving husband, Leonard Paul Ochs.

Mary Carolyn was most known for her unwavering faith and spreading the word of God. Mary was also known for being a teacher, singer, actress, artist, spoke Spanish/French and was a contestant on Wheel of Fortune.

Mary Carolyn was preceded in her death by her husband, Leonard. She is survived by her daughter, Katherine Wells; her son, Kurt Ochs; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Mary Carolyn was a loving wife and mother and cared deeply for the people around her. She was kind, faith-filled and made an impact on many lives. Mary Carolyn will forever be missed.
