Mary was a woman with great heart and strong administrative skills. She was born in East St. Louis, IL on January 11, 1940 to Walter F and Helen Magg. She spent her school years in Illinois and learned how to value family and faith. An Air Force base was not far from where she was raised and young men in uniform would often be seen out and about but one in particular caught her eye! She met and married Kenneth F. Jones and together they spent the next 60 years traveling the world and discovering new places together. She enjoyed cruises, bus trips, train rides or any mode of transportation that would lead to new lands. Mary was a devoted Catholic and was always ready to share her faith with those she encountered. It was Mary's faith that helped her through tough season of life, such as when she survived breast cancer, not once, but twice. In her spare time, she would enjoy watching Jeopardy and playing crossword puzzles. When the grandchildren came along, her whole world changed! She would relish in every opportunity to love of her grandchildren! Her cherished memories will be deeply missed.
Those who have preceded her in death are her parents, Walter and Helen Maag, sister Betty Doleman and sister, Anne Perry.
Those left to carry on her memories are her husband of 60 years, Kenneth F. Jones, son, Michael F. Jones, son, Richard A. Jones, grandchildren: Austin, Michaela, Hunter, Ryan, Chole, and Lillian. Also left to carry on her love are her sisters, Rosemary Snyder and Nancy Reed along with eight great grandchildren and many extended family, all of whom will miss her very much.
