Mary Ella Tramel Horvath Obituary

Our beloved sister and aunt, Mary Ella Tramel Horvath passed from this life to be with her Lord

on Friday, January 12, 2024 after a lengthy illness.

Mary was born June 12, 1934 to Prosper & Zeldia Hardaway Tramel in Bazette, Texas. She is

preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Horvath, her parents, 3 sisters, Jean Howard, June

Howard and Jesse Colbert, niece, Joan Musgrove and nephew, James Mills.

She is survived by sisters, Wanda Hayes and Peggy Horvath, 3 nephews, Michael "Pretty Boy"

Duvall and wife Rose, David Colbert, Kevin Mills; 3 nieces, Linda Williams, Elizabeth Howard,

Denise Crandall & husband Scott; 2 brothers-in-law, Johnny Horvath and Sam Horvath; number

of nieces and nephews.

Mary loved her Lord and often retreated to her prayer closet to pray. She was the heart of our

family, always there to listen and help.

She lived in several states from Pennsylvania to Washington State due to her husband's work.

After returning to Texas, she worked at Suzanne's Dress Shop and Burlington Coat Factory in

the DFW area.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 17, 2024 from 1 PM to 2 PM at Paschal Funeral Home

with funeral service following at 2 PM. Rev. Frank Upchurch will officiate.
