Corsicana, Texas - Surrounded by her family, Mary Ann Greer, 72, went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 13, 2024 in Corsicana, Tx. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on January 26, 2024 at Corley's Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Hamilton-Beeman Cemetery.Mary Ann Greer was born on June 8, 1951 in Ennis, Tx to Johnny Franklin "Frank" Greer and Eleanor Irene Jacobs-Greer of Corsicana, Tx. Growing up in the beautiful farm lands around Corsicana, Mary Ann enjoyed nature and the "farming way of life." As a child visiting her grandmother's farm, her mother and grandmother taught her how to sew and quilt, skills she appreciated as an adult because they reminded her of "home." Throughout her life, she enjoyed gardening, farming, pets, and livestock, all things she experienced as a child. Later in life she had her own little farm where she enjoyed the sunrises and coffee on the porch.Mary Ann retired from CISD Transportation as a bus aid for special needs children. In addition to enjoying nature and taking care of others, she knew how to have a great time. She sprinkled everyone's life with glitter! Literally!Mary Ann is proceeded in death by her father, Johnny "Frank" Greer of Corsicana. She is survived by her mother, Eleanor Greer of Corsicana; siblings, Terry "Dan" and Lisa Greer of Oak Valley and Kary "Nan" Greer-Lewis of Forney,Tx. She is also survived by her children: Ronnie "Joe" Bonner of Retreat, TX; Jackie Bonner-Stanbery of Mildred, TX; Anthony and Elisha Bray of Springville, UT and Jamie and Stephen Reagan of Lone Oak, TX. Surviving grandchildren are Stephanie and Brady Young; Brittany Bray; Cheyenne and Rusty Lewellen; Alexis Bonner; Stephen Ingham; Bradlee Strickland; Sydney Reagan; Michelle Strickland; Ashley and Jeremiah Kneifl; and Logan Reagan. Her surviving great-grandchildren include Kaytlyn Young, Eleina Short-Strickland, Kyley Young, Karder Delgado, Jaxon Young, Lucy Kneifl, Tanner Strickland, Josey Kneifl, and Caidence Delgado. In the last few months, she was ecstatic about being a Granny to another great-granddaughter Delgado coming this March. Pallbearers will be Adam Robinson, Jarrett Greer, Alvin Mullican, Jeremiah Kneifl, Bradlee Strickland, and Stephen Reagan. Memorial donations and flower may be given to Corley's Funeral Home.
