Leslie Gordon "L.G." Ward, 84, of Wortham passed away Saturday, Sept. 27, 2008 at East Texas Medical Center in Fairfield.
Services will be 2 p.m. today at Porter Chapel in Wortham with the Rev. Steven Schulte officiating. Interment will follow at Cade Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
He was born Aug. 23, 1924. Mr. Ward was a retired bottle selector with Anchor Hocking.
Survivors include his wife, Elvie Ward of Wortham; daughter Wanda Sutherland and husband David of Wortham; granddaughters, Autumn Cox and husband Lee of Mexia,, and Cassie Allen of Wortham; grandson, Cory Cawthorn of Wortham; great grandchildren, Kealen, Kennedy and Kuper.
