Landon Johnson
Landon Kyle Johnson went to his Heavenly home, surrounded by family, on August 30, 2019 in San Diego, CA, at the age of 6. Landon was diagnosed with a rare neurological disorder at birth, leaving many doctors to believe his life expectancy would be around two years. Landon not only exceeded this prognosis by living to the age of 6, he used his extra time to change lives and provide inspiration to all that knew him. He had an enormous impact on many people, many of which never even met Landon. Landon maintained his charming personality and happiness until the very end. His happiness could be seen the most during times spent with his two brothers playing on the floor or dancing to their favorite songs.
Landon is survived by his parents, Robert and Lindsey Johnson, his brothers, Kaden and Austin Johnson of San Diego, CA, his grandparents, Kyle and Sloane Slaughter of Prosper, TX and Peter and Martha Kosydar of Cedar Hill, TX, his great grandparents, Paul and Jeanie Slaughter, of Corsicana, TX, and Don Estes of Corsicana, TX and many other family members and friends who loved Landon deeply and provided endless support throughout his life.
He is preceded in death by his great grandparents Harry and Doris Johnson and Gloria Estes.
A service to celebrate his life will be Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 2pm at Griffin - Roughton Funeral Home. There will be a time to visit with the family starting at 1pm prior to the service in the chapel. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Corsicana.
