Kitty Lee (Parrish) McNutt, 89 of Dawson passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family and friends on Sunday, February 6, 2022, to be with our Lord, Jesus Christ. Born in Dawson to Robert Harvey and Olis Cleo Parrish.

Kitty is survived by her daughter in law, Evonne Ivie Blackwell (husband) Bobby Lane, sister Betty Jane Holder, grandchildren, Ivy Blackwell (Chicho), Richelle Perry (Kacy) and Andrew Blackwell (Jordan), great-grandson and favorite sidekick, Kolton Perry. She is also survived by nieces and nephews Kim Martinez (Lupe), Leita Jane Poteet (Ricky), Robert Holder (Sylvia), Shelia Leath (Gene), Chuck Raines (Christy), Vince McNutt (Linda), great nephew, Daniel Pulliam (Miranda), as well as many loving great nieces and nephews. She was also survived by her two beloved pet companions, Stella and Bo Dog.

Kitty was preceded in life by her husband, Edward McNutt and her only son, Michael Edward McNutt, and her long-time companion, Gus Clark, as well as her sister, Judie Raley, Parents, Robert and Olis Cleo Parrish and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services will be held Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at 3 pm (visitation) followed at 4 pm (service) at the First Baptist Church in Dawson, with burial following in the Dawson Cemetery.

Memorial donations can be made in Kitty's name to the Dawson Volunteer Fire Department, First Baptist Church Dawson or LARAS House Shelter in Mexia. Kitty lived most of her life in Dawson and the last 50 years in Spring Hill. She was a big fan of reading and garage sales and her church. She loved her ranch and had a great love of her dogs and cats and chickens and cows. She loved all animals, except for armadillos and boar hogs. She was one of a kind and we loved her so much; she will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.

Pallbearers: Nephews: Daniel Pulliam, Robert Holder, Chuck Raines, Vince McNutt, Ricky Poteet and Lupe Martinez. Grandson in Law: Kacy Perry.

Honorary Pallbearers: Bobby Lane, Doug Lenox, George Lenox and Ernest Nelia Rylie.
