Jo Ann Johnston, formerly of Kerens, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2022 at Flower Mound Assisted Living.
She was born February 3, 1934 in Kerens, Texas to Brackston & Dora Shelton.
Jo Ann is preceded in death by her husband, Winston Blair Johnston; grandson, Chad Winston Tinsley; sisters, Edna Reed, Katy Huggins, Laverne Clark and Virginia Shelton.
She is survived by her daughters, Jane Johnston of Seattle, WA and D'Juana Tinsley of Highland Village, Tx.; grandchildren, Amanda Loughmiller and Braxton Tinsley; great grandchildren, Tinsley Loughmiller, Chad Loughmiller, Landrey Loughmiller.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Paschal Funeral Home. Following the visitation, funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. with Dave Clark officiating. Private graveside service will follow. Pallbearers are Braxton Tinsley (grandson), Chad Loughmiller (great-grandson), Rhett Johnston (nephew), Ron Clark (nephew), Dave Clark (nephew) and Steve Clark (nephew). Honorary Pallbearer Bill Reed (nephew).
