Gene  Montgomery
Gene Montgomery 81, passed away at 1:30 a.m. Jan. 13, 2020 in Corsicana. He was born Dec. 12, 1938 to the parents of Willie and Gladys Montgomery. He is survived by his loving wife Pam; his sons, Danny and wife Rosemary, Tommy and wife Staci, and Adam and wife Vicki; five grandchildren, Weston, Garrett, Hannah, Haddi and Harper. He is also survived by his sisters, Joyce Tapley and Marie Wilkins along with in-laws and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was known for his unconditional love for his family, friends, and deer hunting. His genuine smile and kindness are what drew so many to him. You could always count on a good time and a great story when visiting with him. He will be missed dearly.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2020 at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2020 at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ricky Martinez officiating. Burial will follow at Dresden Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeff Brown, Joseph Pratt, Matt Pratt, Gabe Pratt, Tim Perryman and Joe Perryman. Honorary Pallbearers will be Johnny Campbell and James Campbell.

I worked at epic nursing home and cleaned his room several times. And see him in the hall all the time. He was very sweet and such a sweet face to see everyday. My condolences to the family and prayers for u all for comfort
