Evalyn Ann Vega, 15, born on May 12, 2008 and God called her to heaven on Saturday, May 13, 2023.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2023 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Corley Funeral Home.

Evalyn was loved by her father, Jose Vega. She was raised by her loving grandmother, Sylvia Vega, who loved Evalyn as her own daughter. Evalyn could brighten the room with her smile. She loved listening to her music box and being pushed in her wheelchair by her grandmother.

Evalyn was a member of the Catholic Church for 15 years. She was baptized and did her first communion on April 11, 2015.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Pete and Elena Lopez; grandfather, Jose Vega Sr.; great aunt, Anita Lopez; and great uncle, Joe Lopez.

Evalyn is survived by her grandmother, Sylvia Vega; father, Jose Vega Jr. and Kyra Maust; aunts and uncles, Carlos and Brittany Vega and their children Sophia, Miguel and Jessica Vega.
