Elizabeth "Betty" March, of Newfane, wife of the late Norman B. March, Sr., entered into rest on Saturday, August 10, 2013, at the Newfane Rehab and Health Care Facility. Betty was born in Buffalo, NY on October 2, 1918, daughter of the late Gabriel and Sophie Barhead Riccio.. She worked as a postal clerk for 30 years, retiring in 1985. Betty also worked as a nurse's aide at ICMH Newfane, NY. She enjoyed knitting and reading and was a member of the Wilson Senior Citizens and a past member of the Woman's American Legion.. Mother of Norman B. (Badi) March, Jr. of California. Grandmother of Sarah (Brett) Poser of Georgia. Sister of Marie Malcom, Sylvia Krueger and the late Gabriel and Amelio Riccio. Sister-in- law of Nancy Riccio. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.. No prior visitation. A private graveside service will be held in Corwin Cemetery at the convenience of the family..
