Dorothy M. Wallace Obituary

Dorothy Maxine Wallace, age 90, of Corsicana, Texas, passed away on November 2, 2024, at Twilight Nursing Home. She was born on July 16, 1934, in Cooper, Texas, to parents Georgia and Audy Watson.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter P.K. Gonzales and husband Felix (Dean); her brother Robert Watson and wife Diane; her grandson Casey Brown; and her great-grandchildren Chandler Wallace, Jenna Wallace, Brynna Wallace, Seth Brown, Dakota Brown, Draven Brown, and Sebastian Wallace. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jim Wallace, her sister Ann Berry, her brothers Gaylon Watson and James William Watson, and her stepdaughter Jeri Morgan.

Dorothy worked for over 35 years at Adams Hats. She loved cooking for her family, especially during the holidays, and would fill a table with homemade Christmas candies each year. Her spaghetti and peanut butter cookies were legendary among family and friends.

A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 7, at 1:30 p.m. at Resthaven Memorial Park, with Pastor Brian Upchurch officiating. Serving as pallbearers was Casey Brown, Seth Brown, Dean Gonzales, Chandler Wallace, Ryan Holt, and Rodney Dryden.

Dorothy will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew her.
