Doris M. Lambeth, 88, passed away peacefully at Twilight Nursing Home on July 1, 2023, after a brief illness.

In lieu of flowers, one may give a donation to any charity of their choice in Doris' memory.

Services will be held Saturday, July 15, 2023, at 10AM at First Methodist Church, Corsicana, with Reverend Mike Kerzee officiating and private burial in Dawson Cemetery.

Doris was born October 24, 1934, to Katherine and Alvin Parrish in the Purdon Community. Doris attended and graduated from Dawson High School and went on to attend Mary Hardin-Baylor College, now known as the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, obtaining a Business Degree.

After marrying her high school sweetheart, Don Lambeth, they moved to Dallas where Doris engaged in many job opportunities. She was an active real estate broker for many years and a property investor.

She was active in Dallas Women's Council, serving as president at one time, and served in many capacities as an active member of Order of the Eastern Star.

Through the years Doris enjoyed traveling to many locations all around the world.

Upon moving to Corsicana, she became involved in the Auxiliary at Navarro Regional Hospital, Thalian Literary Club, Kinsloe House, the Nineteenth Century Literary Club, and The Garden Club. She was an avid reader with her library containing over 600 books.

She enjoyed her Sunday School Class and attending worship at First Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Royce Glen Parrish.

She is survived by her son, Ron Lambeth and wife, Amelie of Royce City; sister-in-law, Carol Parrish of Mansfield; nephews, Greg, Randy, and Dan Parrish, who were the apples of her eye; several cousins, and a host of great friends.
