Diana Lynn Williams, 73, of Corsicana, passed away on February 6, 2024. She was born on February 2, 1951, in Tacoma, Washington, to the late Doyle Francis and Delores (Brentlinger) Sparrow.
Diana found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially after her retirement. She dedicated her time to embroidery, creating meaningful pieces for the Catholic Daughters and the Knights of Columbus. Her green thumb brought life to her garden, and she cherished moments spent with her family.
A compassionate and skilled registered nurse, Diana devoted the last decade of her career to serving at Navarro Regional Hospital working in the OR with Dr. Syed. She leaves behind a legacy of care and kindness in the hearts of those she touched.
Diana's love extended beyond her profession, as she actively participated in her community. A proud member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, she served diligently in the Catholic Daughters and the Altar Society. Additionally, Diana was a valued member of the Society of Gastrointestinal Nurses Association (S.G.N.A.). She was well known by the members of the Corsicana Lions Club.
She had a soft spot for her furry friends, always having a favorite dog by her side. Her faithful companion, "Ziva," now mourns her absence.
Diana is survived by her loving husband, Dan E Williams of Corsicana; son, Kyle Williams, and his wife Kristina of Burleson; daughter, Janna Vandermeer of League City; grandchildren, Zoey, Brody, and Wyatt; step-grandchildren, Landon, Avery, and Blake; sister, Deborah Pattison of Pearland; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.
Visitation to celebrate Diana's life will be held on Monday, February 12, 2024, at 7:00 PM in the Corley Funeral Home Chapel, with the Recitation of the Rosary beginning at 6:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial services will take place at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Corsicana. Following the service, interment will be held at the Hamilton Beeman Cemetery. A reception will be held at Saint Anthony's pavilion for friends and family following Mass until 3:00 PM.
May Diana's soul rest in peace, and may her memory continue to bring comfort and solace to those who knew and loved her.
