Dawson, Texas - Davis Edward Perry, 70,passed away peacefully at home on March 11,2026 after a courageous battle with cancer.


He was born on March 30,1955 in Beaumont TX to Lois Perry and Buford Perry.


Davis was a devoted husband,father,brother, grandfather and friend who was known for his generosity and steady presence in the lives of those who loved him.


Davis retired after 40 years of driving a big rig truck and enjoyed fishing and hunting and spending time with family and friends.


He was preceded in death by his father,Buford Perry;his mother,Lois Perry.


He is survived by his loving wife,Tabbey Easley;his son,William Perry;step son,Chad Easley;and wife,Ann Evans;step daughter,Kacie Smith;and husband,Brad Smith;step daughter,Kandy Moody;and husband,Kevin Moody;his brother,Daniel Perry;his sister,Helen Ozan;his sister,Janice DuBose;his sister,Jennifer Lane;fourteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren;and many other family members and dear friends who will miss him deeply.


He will be remembered for his kindness and the love he gave to his family and friends.


A memorial service will be announced and held at a later time.
