Darren  Potter
Darren Lee Potter, 55, of Corsicana was born on Dec. 4, 1963 in Towanda, Pa. He left this earth on July 18, 2019 in Corsicana.
Darren was employed by Land Mart Inc.and was a United States Army veteran. He attended Rocori Senior High School in Cold Springs, MN. He studied automotives at St. Cloud Technical and Community College.
Darren enjoyed being outside. He loved watching NASCAR and the Vikings play football. Darren was a man of all trades and could fix anything.
Darren in survived by his wife, Stacy; daughter, Alaina; son, Jaxon and step-daughter, Kaleigh Coats and husband, Justin Coats, and grandson, Brody Coats, of Whitehouse.
Darren is also survived by his other children in Minnesota including daughters, Janelle Nelson, Kayleigh Buchholz and son Brandon Potter, Darren is a grandfather to six, Dylan, Hunter, Aria of Janelle Nelson, Kylie, Hayden and Camden of Kayleigh. He is survived by his sister, Mary Ajitsingh and niece, Devika Elliott of California; step-sisters, Bony Vary and Jean Mears of Florida and step-father, Buck Buchholz in Minnesota.
Darren is preceded in death by his mother, Esther M. Buchholz; father, Paul H. Potter, and nephew, Michael Ajitsingh.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, 2019 at Purdon Baptist Church in Purdon. Refreshments will be served after the service.

Darren always told me he loved me no matter how mad I got at him. His love was always unconditional. Every time I think of him, I will remember his devilish smile that always looked like he was up to no good. 😘. I’m glad you are able to talk nascar with your dad. Love you!
