Corsicana, Texas - Claudia Louise Mathews Hubler passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 26, 2025. Up until the end, she remained strong, tenacious, and determined, not letting the hardships of her life limit her, relying on her faith through all things. She was blessed to be surrounded by loved ones.
Claudia is survived by her daughters, Margaret (Meg) Carter and Michele Applegate (Bryan Applegate). Her grandchildren were Amanda Smith (Patrick Smith), Brittany Nicholes (Levi Nicholes), Christian Applegate, Elaine Applegate, and Alden Applegate: her precious great-grandson Elias Smith, and the anticipated "baby girl" Nicholes.
A memorial service will be 10:30am Saturday, January 10, 2026, at St John's Episcopal Church of Corsicana. Donations to Home Helpers of Corsicana or New Century Hospice in her name are welcome and appreciated.
