Carolyn (Allen) Williams passed away on August 4, 2024, in Corsicana, Tx. Carolyn was born on February 17, 1943, to Billy Joe and Vergie Allen in Corsicana, Texas. She came into this world a couple minutes before her identical twin sister, Sharron.
Carolyn graduated from Mildred High School and then attended Navarro Junior College. She then moved to Dallas and began her career with the Internal Revenue Service. Carolyn married John Williams in 1975, and they moved to Ennis where they attended Baylor Baptist Church and then Tabernacle Baptist. She and John loved to travel, especially to London. Carolyn also loved to read. She had a quite a collection of books, but none more important than her Bible. Daily Bible readings were her favorite. Carolyn loved being with all her family and friends.
Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Curtis Boyd and her husband John Williams; her sister Sharron Collier and her nieces Kathy Thompson and Ashlyn Collier. Carolyn is survived by John's son Clif WIlliams and wife Tristen and children Baxter and Mason; nephew Paul Collier & wife Jenny and children Jared, Jadi, and Brooke Smith; niece Kathy Thompson's husband Kelly and daughter Ella. Kathy's sons, Cory Wilkinson, Tyler Herron and wife Carlie and their children Jace, Ava, Cater and Granger. Brother Billy Glenn Allen-Wade and husband Shawn; sister Janet Hecker and husband Tom and son, Mike Hecker and wife Lynda; children Shelby Iskandar and husband Michael and son Gabe Rebecca Munn and husband Tommy and daughter Veronica. Daughter Jill Noble and husband Eric and their children Brooke and Kendall; brother-in-law John Paul Collier and a host of additional family and friends.
The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to Bristol Hospice and Twilight Nursing Home for taking such good care of Carolyn through these final days.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 9, 2024, from 10:00-11:00 am at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home. Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 am at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home.
