Tommie Lee Blue, 58 of Corsicana, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 22, 2016 after a 10 year battle with Mycosis Fungoides Cancer. She was born Aug. 22, 1958 in Corpus Christi to Albert A. and Letta Jane Mintz.
She graduated from Corsicana High School and attended Navarro College. She worked at State National Bank for many years. She retired from the Navarro County Sheriff's Department in January of this year after 26 years of service. She married the love of her life Wesley in 2005. They shared many adventures traveling, taking cruises and camping.
She was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Tory Cantu and brother-in-laws, Marvin Jones and Rick Knecht.
Tommie is survived by her husband, Wesley Blue; children, Jason Ruiz and wife Katie, Robyn Kittrell and husband Joe and Ryan Blue and wife Chasity; grandchildren, Addison Ruiz, Ty Cantu and wife Kirstie and Logan Gruver and great grandchild, Lee Cantu. She is also survived by her father and mother-in-law, M.H. and Ida Blue; sisters, Linda Jones, Darline Ratliff and husband Bill, Marie Knecht and Mary Flatt and husband Ron; brother and sister-in-law, Randy and Janette Blue; sister-in-law, Pam Travis; aunt, Edith Moreau; her four legged girls, Diva, Zoie and Abby along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 26, 2016 at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home.
Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2016 at Cowboy Church of Corsicana. Interment will follow at Hamilton-Beeman Cemetery.
