Over the last couple of years of his life, he reunited and started serving in Sunday School and singing with the choir and make chorus. He took pride in sitting under the mentorship of Clyde Chambers, as he welcomed him with open arms, celebrated his spiritual Journey and encouraged him to be the man that God created him to be.
During his mid-life, he realized his calling and purpose to be a caregiver, and he made that his mission until his dying day. He enjoyed caring for people, gardening, handyman work, cooking and most of all, living and laughing.
