Micaela "Mickie" Joles, 94, of Corsicana passed away Sunday, June 4, 2017 at Heritage Oaks Retirement Village in Corsicana. She was born May 8, 1923 in Ennis to Raymond and Santos Chavez Gonzales.
She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She was a homemaker that had a great love for taking care of her family. She was a long-time faithful member of the House of Praise Church of God in Corsicana.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Spencer Joles; four sisters and two brothers.
Mickie is survived by her son, Michael Joles and wife Connie of Flint; daughter, Michelle Easley and husband Jimmy of Corsicana; granddaughters, Kristal Ives and husband Joshua of Bullard, Samantha Brooks and husband Eric of Bullard, and Natalie Joles of Rockwall; great granddaughters, Cadence and Alexandria Ives of Bullard; great grandsons, Andrew and Spencer Brooks of Bullard; sisters, Delores Dozier and Catalina Hodge of Corsicana; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation with the family was held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at Corley Funeral Home.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at the House of Praise Church of God with Pastor Tim Schane officiating.
Interment followed in the Oakwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Joe Saldivar, Patrick Joles, Andrew Brooks, Jesse Gonzales, Andy Garcia, and Domingo Settles. Honorary Pallbearer is Logan Cobb.
