LeAnn Curry of Corsicana went to be with her Heavenly Father Thursday, Jan. 26, 2017 at Providence Hospice Place in Waco, surrounded by her family and friends at the age of 53. She was born in Corsicana on Feb. 25, 1963 to Lee Roy Fields and Reba Anderson Fields.
LeAnn was employed at Collins Street Bakery as an Assistant Marketing Director and had been with them for 22 years. She was never able to tell anyone "No." LeAnn had a loving and caring heart, always taking care and tending to the needs of others, at times ahead of her own. Her family was everything to her. LeAnn also gave to the St. Jude's Hospital in hopes of helping those who needed help the most.
LeAnn is survived by her parents Lee Roy Fields and Reba Anderson Fields; children Sam Curry, Jake Welch, Tim Curry and wife Aimee and Whitney Curry; grandchildren Abigail, Avery and Silas. She is also survived by her siblings Mike Fields and Tonya Bowen and husband Craig; nieces and nephews Ryan, Tristen, Mitchell and Lauren; brother-in-law Skip Curry and his wife Vivian and her Collin Street Bakery Family.
Visitation with her family will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 29, 2017 at Griffin - Roughton Funeral Home. Funeral services are set to begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2017 at Griffin - Roughton Funeral Home with Dr. Steven Bell of First United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow at Kerens Cemetery with Todd Nichols, Nick Nichols, Sydney Polk, Gene Yarborough, Tristen Fields and Dave Grant serving as pallbearers.
The family is asking that memorials be made to the St. Jude's Hospital or Children's Hospital in Dallas.
