Jimmie Wade Colvard, 82, left this life Monday, Nov. 7, 2016 after a battle with Alzheimer's. He was born Sept. 4, 1934 in Dallas, Texas.
As a young man he enlisted in the Marines. Jimmie enjoyed traveling, deer hunting, drawing and spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mavis L. Colvard, of Corsicana; daughters Elesia Hyden of Irving and Teresa Baston of Blooming Grove; sisters Betty Collier of Blooming Grove and Wanda Godfrey and husband Howard of Garland. He is also survived by grandsons Bradley Gentry and wife Selene of Corsicana and Sterling Hyden and wife Jennifer of North Richland Hills; granddaughters Mandy Gentry of Austin and Lindsey Hyden of Irving; and great grandchildren Audrey, Corbin and Brody Gentry, Hayden Gentry, Zoe, Asher and Myles Hyden; and several nieces and nephews.
