Janice Marriott, 70, of Dallas passed away on Monday, Sept. 12, 2016. She will always be remembered as a loving mother to her daughters, Lori Ann and Amy and a friend to all who knew and loved her. Janice was born in Corsicana on June 17, 1946 to Robert Larence and Dorothy Rodgers Colquitt.
She was a long time resident of Dallas, who spent 36 years in the grocery business the majority of her career with Tom Thumb and 13 years as an insurance adjuster. She loved to spend time with family, travel across the USA and weekends at her Cedar Creek lake house.
She is survived by her daughters and spouses, Lori Ann and Jimmie Hudspeth and Amy and Jeff Duncan; grandchildren, Mark Hudspeth, Kayla Duncan and Blake Duncan and brother Larry Colquitt.
She is preceded in death by her parents and stepmother Norma Colquitt.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, 201. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 18, 2016 at Sparkman/ Hillcrest Northwest Chapel, 7405 W. Northwest Hwy., Dallas, TX 75225.
Interment will follow at Tool Cemetery in Tool, TX.
