Grace Coffey Woodard, 94, of Arlington passed away on Friday, Jan. 20, 2017 at her son's residence in Mineral Wells. She was born on Aug. 26, 1922 in Jester to George Clinton and Ella Mae Covington Coffey.
She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She was a lifetime member of the Rebekah's, and was a member of the Baptist church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Pierce Woodard, Sr.; parents, Clint and Ella Coffey and five siblings.
She is survived by her son, Joe P. Woodard, Jr. and wife Sue of Mineral Wells; daughter, Jane McManus and husband Jason of Arlington; grandchildren, Jody Woodard and wife Stefanie of Watauga, Jeff Woodard and wife Susie of Mineral Wells, Jennifer Pentz and husband David of Gibbtown and Jacob McManus of Arlington; great grandchildren, Jadyn and Jeremiah Woodard of Mineral Wells, Sammy Pentz of Gibbtown and John Thomas Woodard of Watauga along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation with the family will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2017 at Corley Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2017 at the Corley Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor John Tunnel officiating.
Interment will follow in the Hamilton-Beeman Cemetery. Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
