Wanda Sue McNeese, 75, passed away Friday, March 17, 2017 at her home in Kerens. She was born Jan. 17, 1942 in Corsicana to Lawrence and Gladys Douglas. She was a long time resident of Kerens and a member of First Baptist Church in Kerens.
On July 25, 1959, she married the love of her life, Eddie McNeese. She enjoyed traveling with Eddie, spending time with her family, shopping and square dancing. Throughout her life she owned a few businesses and substituted at Kerens ISD. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She was proceeded in death by her parents; three sisters, Marie Griffin, Dorothy Jean Ashford, and Betty Jo Lancaster; one brother Kenneth "Buck" Douglas; son-in-law Brian Allen and sister and brother-in-law Margaret and James Pryor.
Wanda is survived by her husband, Eddie McNeese of Kerens; brothers-in-law Buck and Amalia Yates of Conroe, Dan Lancaster of Athens, Bob Ashford of Garland; sister-in-law Dorothy Douglas of Corsicana; her daughters Carol Allen and Andy Thomas of Kerens, Sharon and Ronnie Knott of Ennis; grandchildren Cody and Ashley Grace of Corsicana, Dillon Allen of Fort Worth, Megan and Kyle Simpson of Seattle, Heather and Derrick Williams of Corsicana, Heath and Debbie Sanches of Corsicana, Tyler Sanches of Corsicana, Blake and Stacy Hodges of Waxahachie, Dane and Ashley Knott of Ennis; 14 great grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March, 21, 2017 at Paschal Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Paschal Funeral Home with Bro. David LeFlore officating and interment to follow in the Kerens Cemetery.
