Tom Ovalle, 82, of Corsicana passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. He was born on Dec. 22, 1934 in Kerens to Selso and Ynez Ovalle.
He was drafted into the US Army in the 50's and after basic training was stationed in France. He attained an associated degree from Navarro College, and ran a successful plumbing and real estate investment company.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Selso and Ynez Ovalle.
He is survived by his son, Tommy Ovalle and wife Kathy of Winter Haven, Florida; daughters, Vivian Lynn and husband Jim of Midlothian, Blinda Sue Carnley and husband Henry of Kilgore, and Diane Lynn Ovalle of Hawkins City; grandchildren, Forrest, James, Nickie, Bailey, Parker, Jonathan, Nicholas, Davina, Brian, Jeremy and Nina; 18 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren, three great-great-great grandchildren; sister, China Ovalle of Corsicana; brother, Chris Ovalle and wife Betty of Tyler; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and a close friend, Viola Lamb of Corsicana.
Visitation with the family will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 21, 2017 at Corley Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 22, 2017 at the Corley Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Gary W. Johnson officiating.
Interment will follow in Hamilton-Beeman Cemetery.
