Tarenza Donald Evans was born Oct. 15, 1984 in El Dorado, Arkansas. He passed away Monday, Aug. 28, 2017. He was baptized at the early age. Tarenza was a choir member, junior deacon, and lifelong member of First Missionary Baptist Church in Coolidge under the leadership of Pastor Troy Eastland, Jr. He attended grade school at Coolidge Elementary and graduated from Coolidge High School in 2005. Tarenza was also a student at Paul Quinn College in Dallas.
Tarenza was preceded in death by his grandmother Vernell Cornish-Hatten, father Michael Suell and sister Rachelle Evans.
He leaves to cherish his memories to his mother, Vernell Cornish-Evans; father figure Bruce Small; siblings, Vernita Evans-Huckaby (Darren), Elanda Lewis, Malaika Suell, Michael Suell, Galisa Suell, Curtis Evans, Verchelle Evans; two nieces Chloé Evans, Shaquera Means and one nephew Vernard Evans of which he was raised with as sister and brother; niece Gabryille Smith; great nephew Russell Evans; uncles Windell Smith (Maxine,) Clarence Sandles, Hiriam Hatten (Sylvia,) Ollie Hatten, Carl Hatten, Eddie Hatten (Michelle), Archie Hatten, Jr. (Lucious,) Favium Cooke, Michael Roberts (Wanda,) and Leonard Mixon (Linda;) grandmother Ruthie Sallie and birth mother Jackie Suell.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 9, 2017 at St. James Primitive Baptist Church in Coolidge.
