Shirley Ann Daniel Gilliam, 81, of Arlington passed away Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2017 at Memorial Hospital in Arlington. She was born Aug. 30, 1936 in Corsicana to William Marion and Mary Lou May Daniel. She was a lifetime member of the Order of Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Carroll Gilliam and her parents.
She is survived by her son, Jeff Gilliam and wife Susan Warren; daughters, Nickey Haynes and husband Larry of Arlington and Stacey Hoots and husband Michael of Arlington; grandchildren, Tiffany Calder of Roanoke, Amilyn Martin of Roanoke, Joshua Stout of Beaumont, Sydney Stout and companion Marco Flores of Beaumont, and Lacey Hildebrant of Arlington; great granddaughter, Lena Flores of Beaumont; sister, Mary Wigley and husband Buddy of Corsicana; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation with the family will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 17, 2017 at Corley Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 18, 2017 at the Corley Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Anna M. Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
