Rodney Dale Bonner, of Corsicana, passed away at home on Wednesday evening July 3, 2019 at the age of 60. He was born in Corsicana on December 18, 1958 to Donald Andrew Bonner and Glenda Sue Minor Bonner. He was a welding contractor and also raised hay. He attended the Cowboy Church of Corsicana. Rodney grew up on the family farm with agriculture. He always said when asked what he wanted to do and he answered "be a cowboy". He influenced many young men in his life with work ethic and direction.

He is preceded in death by his parents and son Heath Skinner. Rodney is survived by his wife Kathy. Children; Josh and wife Crystal, Becky and husband Michael, Matthew, Dale and wife Gabby, Lacie and husband Kenton, Jaime and Zachary. Grandchildren; Rex, Acie, Matthew, Gus, Raelyn, Heath, Rylan, Kensley, Kutter, Trey and Christina. He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday evening from 6 - 8 p.m. at Griffin - Roughton Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday, July 8, 2019 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel at Griffin - Roughton Funeral Home with Derek Rogers officiating. Burial will follow at Campbell- Elrod Cemetery with Charky Marquis officiating. Pallbearers will be Josh, Matthew, Dale, Michael, Kenton and Toby. Heath Skinner is honorary pallbearer.
