Richard Larry Cottongame, 61, passed away Monday, April 17, 2017 in Fort Worth. He was born on July 20, 1955 to Clyde Cottongame and Polly Ruth Yates Cottongame. A resident of Fort Worth for the past 55 years, he retired from Miller Brewing Co. after 40 plus years of service. He enjoyed fishing on his boat, and his cabin in Port Aransas.
Richard is survived by his Father Clyde Cottongame Sr. of Dawson; daughter, Stephanie Reynolds of Joshua; brothers, Clyde Cottongame Jr. and wife, Joni, and Glenn Cottongame and wife, Helene; granddaughters, Christine Wilson and Jordan Reynolds; brother-in-law, Joel Hancock; nieces and nephews, Seth Cottongame, Ben and Kim Cottongame, Misty Cottongame, Jimmy Cottongame, Angela Balderas, Brian and Jennifer Hancock, and Erin and David Lee, and a host of family and friends.
He was well loved by all.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Wade Funeral Home in Hubbard.
Interment to follow at Dawson Cemetery in Navarro County.
