Rafael Reyes, Jr., 74, of Corsicana passed away peacefully at his daughter Sylvia's home, Thursday, Nov. 9, 2017 with his family by his side and made his journey to his Heavenly home.
Rafael was born March 20, 1943 in Corsicana. He dedicated 10 to 15 years of service to Navarro County Precinct 1, driving big trucks for that was his passion. He was presented an award at his retirement event for his many years of excellent service and hard work to Navarro County in 2008. He retired from what he loved doing due to his illnesses.
He loved fishing, scrapping, Dallas Cowboys and most of all, he loved his family. He never met a stranger, he talked to anyone that he came in contact with.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jaqueline Reyes.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory children, Sylvia Chavez and husband Ismael, Kenna Medina and companion Don Porter, David Reyes and Steve Reyes; grandchildren, Cecilia Lemus and companion Joe Ramirez, Rafael Manuel Lemus and wife Alma, Blanca Francia and fiance Jacob Gallegos, Felisa Francia, Hannah Chavez, Teresa Rivera, Christina Reyes, Maricela Aguayo and husband Efrain, Amanda Canales, Briana Snider and husband Brandon, Justin Reyes and companion Courtney Burnett, Alyssa Lacoste and husband Blaze, David Reyes, Jr., and wife Amber; 21 great grandchildren and mother of his children, Susie Reyes.
