Patricia D. Rodgers, 50, of Corsicana passed away Monday, Sept. 25, 2017 in Dallas. She was born May 4, 1967 in Lubbock.
She was a sassy and outgoing soul. Her big-hearted personality and smile were contagious. She loved and cared for her family especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed coloring, crafting and scrapbooking, cooking meals for her family, and weaving different projects. She loved camping and wanted to teach her grandchildren how to fish. She was a "homebody" whose joy for life will never be forgotten.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Willie Mae Hogg and Ernest Steven Hogg, Jr.; mother-in-law, Gertrud Irwin; brother, Kenneth Lee Elliott; aunt, Sandy R. Martindale and uncle, Steve DeForest Hogg.
She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Terry Rodgers of Corsicana; mother, Patricia Ann Sanders of Corsicana; sons, Dustin Steele of Corsicana and Joshua Steele of Louisville, Kentucky, as well as eight grandchildren.
Cremation will be under the direction of Corley Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 5, 2017 at Grace Community Church.
