Mary Josephine "Jo" Stevens passed away Thursday, May 4, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. Jo was born in Houston to Elizabeth and G.L Jackson. She was an active and loyal member of South Main Baptist church until moving to Corsicana, Texas in 1979 where she then became an active member of First Baptist Church.

Jo lived life to the fullest. She was always ready for an adventure and loved to travel, particularly when given the opportunity to experience nature's beauty. Always young at heart, some of Jo's favorite hobbies included swimming every morning, biking with friends, hiking, reading, following her favorite sports teams, particularly that of her alma mater, Baylor University and spending time with her family and pets.
She is survived by her beloved husband, John Stevens; sons, Randy Stevens, Scott Stevens and wife Robin; daughter, Kristen Knutson and husband David; grandchildren, Lindsey McCartney and husband Ethan, Dylan Knutson, Logan Stevens and wife Ashlyn, Jack Knutson and Sage Stevens; sister, Betty Ross Preisler Kelley and husband James.
