Our precious mother, mother-in-love, grandmother, sister and friend Mary Ellen Langford, age 86, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, March 12, 2017. God in His Greatness allowed her children to be at her side.
Mary was born Aug. 16, 1930 in Brandon to the late Lloyd and Gladys Ferguson. She married her High School sweetheart, James W. Langford, Dec. 18,1947. He preceded her in death in 2004. Most of their married life was spent in Corsicana.
Mary greatly enjoyed the roll of grandmother, Adam, Aaron, Ashlee and Micah were the loves of her life. She also loved crocheting and blessed family and friends with her wonderful talent. All who knew her loved her easy-going manner.
Mary is survived by son Walter and wife Kay of Temple, son Lynn and wife Joey of Keller; four grandchildren, Adam, Aaron, Micah Langford and Ashlee Brantley; four great grandchildren, Connor Brantley, Madelyn Langford, Harrison Langford and Tyler Bruns; brother Hugh Ferguson of Hillsboro; sisters Jane Ferguson of Hillsboro, sister Nancy Coffey of Ennis and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 17, 2017 at Brandon Cemetery with Pastor Darrel Phillips officiating.
We thank the staff of Marlandwood East in Temple for their love and care. Mary loved you and we know the love was returned.
